When You Say Tablet, You Also Say iPad
When it comes to choosing a tablet, the best choice is the iPad. It is the one tablet that can be used by everyone, young and old. The versatility is simply amazing. You can get no better tablet when it comes to being user-friendly and effective. It comes at a price – no doubt about that. You get full value for your money.
What is the one drawback?
Well, you could say that the price is higher than for other tablets. You can get Denver tablets at a far lower price, but you only get what you pay for.
The Android operating system is excellent for smartphones, but quite honestly I would never choose it for either computers or tablets. In case you DO want an open operating system on a computer, the GoogleOS would be a worthy competitor when it comes to user-friendliness and the ability to boot quickly. It is a good operating system in so many ways. Whatever comes for free is quite obviously interesting. That was also the case with the Linux operating system.
I was a Linux user for numerous years, and I was quite happy with it.
But times do change. Microsoft has done much for computers, and much of the criticism of former versions of Windows has been taken care of.
But the one thing you can never take away from Apple products is the ability to do everything with the click on a mouse. You do get a system without all the hassle of drive letters etc. You could say that the operating system has translated computer-gibberish into common language everyone can use.
When you are on the move – whether in a train or on the bus – the iOS is fully functional. You get thousands of apps that work from day one. Everything is excellent and well worth recommending for all people, regardless of age.
It has been claimed that there are too many updates, but I would beg to differ. Each new version of the iPad has improvements, but it is just as true that you do have a valuable and useful iPad regardless of what version you currently use. The price you get when you sell ‘old’ Apple equipment is testament to the value you maintain when you choose the very best to begin with.
What are your thoughts on tablets? Your comments are welcome. 🙂
