Buy Your Updates Through iTunes
When you want to update one or more programs from the iWork suite it can be quite handy to remember that single programs can actually be updated – at a lower price – when you update through iTunes. It’s true that you don’t get any installation cd or dvd, but who needs that in an age where WiFi networks run at speeds we have today?
I was actually quite surprised when I discovered the price difference, because I was actually only interested in updating the Pages program (which has lots of smart templates), and therefore it came in quite handy that I could update the program on itself without having to buy a complete update package.
For other office tasks, I have always liked the OpenOffice suite much more, which is FREE by the way. But Pages IS an excellent program when you have a MacBook or iMac.
