One could say we take one more step towards greater friendship with France now that our Prince Joachim has announced his marriage to Marie Cavalier on May 24th 2008. It is a rather interesting situation because Joachim and ex-wife Alexandra cooperate rather well about sharing the two princes, and Alexandra in fact remarried earlier this year.
Our Queen is beginning to suffer from various ailments, and one could wish she would withdraw and enjoy her last years in cooperation with the winefarmer, Prince Henrik, owner of Chateau de Caïx, a producer of both red and white wines. Some Danes enjoy this wine but I would rather enjoy wines from the Tours-area. 🙂
