Twitter IS Great Fun…
Twitter is great fun, as many of you will have discovered by now. Regular updates tell us quite a bit about what online friends are doing all over the globe. Initially I couldn’t really see the idea behind all of this Twittering, but now – after having tried it for a few months – I do use it, and enjoy doing so.
I have now surpassed 300 updates, so there have been quite a few things to tell the 21 people who follow me regularly. What amazes me the most isn’t that there are only 21 followers, but when hundreds of people read my articles on this blog, why wouldn’t they participate in following me on Twitter?
There are two possible answers:
- Either many aren’t using Twitter yet
- Or, perhaps I haven’t been good enough at showing the link for my Twitter profile to follow me.
Regardless of which it is, I am going to rectify it by saying that if you want to follow me on Twitter, you can do so by clicking here: http://twitter.com/henrikblunck. If you haven’t tried using Twitter, I can’t blame you for being a bit skeptic. Many projects fail – and have done so through history – but Twitter seems to be a survivor with lots of very active Twitters all over the world enjoying this type of social network.
Have fun. It’s what makes it so rewarding to be active online.
