France’s Cultural Sites

You can directly download “France’s Cultural Sites” here: http://us.maison-de-la-france.com/us/cmm/4_volets_2007_uk.PDF. This 8 page PDF-brochure can be printed regardless of whether you use Windows, Linux or MacOS. It’s a fantastic overview of a magnificent country with lots of good information.

We have talked about going three weeks in 2009. One week in Paris, one week combined Asterix Parc and visiting with our very good friends, and also one week in Southern France. I can’t quite say yet whether it will be in Cote d’Azur, Marseille or Lyon but these three locations are in our planning at this time.

Regardless of what you prefer to see, I would recommend using Google also in your specific search. We do it all the time, and we find new fascinating things everytime. There is so much to tell, and I would welcome your comments about what you might want to hear more specifically about. I welcome suggestions and feedback.

Have a good weekend everyone. 🙂

Vacation in France 2008

Steve and Eduardo have visited France, and they actually created some rather good albums with a wide variety of photos mixed into a video with excellent music. Enjoy. 🙂

Here’s video number 2:

Always nice to see how others have perceived France, and the second video contains fireworks from the Bastille Day. Truly a job well done, and I felt like sharing it with you on this blog to inspire you when you begin planning your summer vacation 2009. 🙂

Yet Another Facelift

This evening I felt a bit creative, so the previous design was changed. Previously the theme looked like this:

The “new” design looks like this:

I hope you enjoy the new design. Please feel free, as always, to make comments, suggestions etc. I would love to hear what YOU think. Thanks beforehand. 🙂

A Bit of French Humour

As you might have guessed, from reading this blog, I do enjoy humour, and the french group “Les inconnus” (the unknown) are truly unique.

Try watching this sketch on hunting :

It is nice to see that some people use art to make a point and many hunters behave just as badly as illustrated. Serious hunters recognize this and try to eliminate the trend so it may again be a good hobby in good standing.

Tour de France Fun…

Just when I thought I had seen everything surrounding the revelation that Michael Rasmussen wasn’t in Mexico for his training sessions, I found this movie I wanted to share with everyone.

CSC did well in 2008 so we Danes could again be very happy when the boys came into Paris. But good sense of humour is also nice from time to time. 🙂
