Good Signs Amid Global Slowdown

Posted by Henrik Blunck (admin) | Google AdSense, Your Own Business, monetizing your blog | Sunday 3 May 2009 1:07 pm

While the IMF sends signals that “Global economy will shrink” (according to CNN), there are also good signs amid the global slowdown. There are many types of economy:

  • Global economy — all nations viewed under one big picture
  • G8 economy — economy among the top-8 nations
  • National economy — your own country’s economy
  • Corporate economy — economy of businesses
  • Family economy — your household economy
  • Personal economy — how you’re doing economically

It’s highly important not to let national economy be a sign of how the global economy is doing. We have seen signs, in Denmark, that shares had some growth during April — but that trend was mostly shares owned by the financial giant ATP in preparation for releasing what we call SP, a special form of retirement fund that has since been “cancelled”, and can now be paid out.

One giant financial institution doing well in our country doesn’t mean everyone is over this slowdown. Rather the contrary. Just as tendencies within the EU [European Union] might be somewhat better than the major troubles faced by the United States. Many are following the political signals, realizing that freeing themselves from fossil fuels WILL rock the Arab nations and their oil exports. In much the same way national borrowing in a dangerous world of opposing world views CAN be challenging. Some ARE sending signals in the way they spend tax money, and we – as individuals trying to earn some money online – can be greatly affected by some of the political decisions.

In THIS situation it was, however, nice to conclude that Adsense income was 43,18% above the month of March. It should however also be said that almost a year ago, income through that venue dropped nearly 60% so there is still some way back. Nonetheless, it’s important to recognize the good signs in times like these to maintain good focus on positive elements.

If you want to experience growth you need to change your mindset. Keep doing the right thing, survive these trying times, and you will come across at the other end much richer in experience etc. Carpe diem.

Video Clips Mini-Sites in No Time

Posted by Henrik Blunck (admin) | Affiliate Marketing, Google AdSense | Saturday 7 February 2009 7:15 pm

Have you dreamed of creating tons of TARGETTED, TRAFFIC-GENERATING, RELEVANT, AUTOMATICALLY UPDATED video mini-sites with virtually no effort whatsoever?

See what I mean by seeing these four sites I literally created in only SECONDS:

How can you use this?
You can supplement your niche by having relevant videos for your niche. Designing these pages solely for earning Adsense income is not the primary goal. You want to create material that SUPPLEMENTS you in the niche you have chosen. That will generate updated content and people love this. As you can see, you can create mini-sites about both specific subjects or specific people. This is an all-round tool with powerful potential.

Where Can I Get This?
It is created by a product entitled “Video Clip Minisite Builder” which you could get your hands on for only 27$. The potential is fantastic. Just imagine running this on a template where you are already involved with mexican cooking. You can set up a site that brings in tons of money from Google Adsense. You can even setup the resulting pages as you like because the source code is fully available to you.

You get full resale rights for this product, and that brings in a two-faced income for your online business. So wait no longer. Hurry over to get your copy of “Video Clip Minisite Builder” and start building your own money-making mini-sites.

What You Need Most: Visitors or Buyers?

Posted by Henrik Blunck (admin) | Affiliate Marketing, Google AdSense, monetizing your blog | Wednesday 4 February 2009 3:08 am

You need to ask yourself the question: “What do you need the most: visitors or buyers?” It’s important to know the difference between the two. Each can be monetized in very different ways.

Sit down with a good cup of coffee or tea and listen.

If you show a lot of banners where you’re paid per appearance traffic is going to earn you a certain amount of money. Maybe only dimes per impression, but when you add things up it CAN become a fairly decent amount of money.

If, on the other hand, you run Adsense or affiliate marketing there are two things to be aware of:

  • Clicking is easier than buying
  • Buyers earn you far more per “hit”

Clicking Is Easier Than Buying
Getting people to click is not difficult as such. If you have aroused people’s curiosity, clicking is just a natural extension of that curiosity you created. That click may very well end in no sale whatsoever, but in many instances you earn a bit more than the banners based upon number of impressions. For some keywords, however, you should be forewarned that you’re going to see lamentable amounts per click on average. In such instances affiliate marketing may be a much better venue for you.

Buyers Earn You Far More Per “Hit”
Getting buyers is what earns you real cash. People who take action bring about cash in this business. “It’s where the dough is” to say it directly. You may only be earning a few dollars in commission but when you start doing the math and have several hundred people buying the product you see where we’re going, don’t you? :-)

So, all in all, you don’t need visitors. You need buyers. Visitors bring in money for your tip jar whereas buyers supply the real money. Therefore, focus your attention on providing good value to your readers. They will become buyers if you do and you will reap what you sow.

Go prepare for a good harvest, and remember to seize the day. Carpe diem.

Posted by Henrik Blunck (admin) | E-books, Google AdSense, Your Own Business, free stuff, monetizing your blog | Sunday 5 October 2008 12:58 pm

Joel Comm haa decided to do something very nice, and commendable. Since he earns about 800$ per day from Adsense, and already has sold thousands of e-books – Adsense Secrets – he felt it would be fun to get NEW PEOPLE into the business.

So, there really is no need to hesitate: why wait when it’s free – if you are among the first 1.000 to land on his page?

This is probably the closest we people get to receiving an offer we CAN’T refuse…. :-)

Split Testing What's Best for the Tip Jar

Posted by Henrik Blunck (admin) | Affiliate Marketing, Blogging, Google AdSense, Your Own Business, monetizing your blog | Friday 29 August 2008 12:35 am

People who have watched Joel’s videos and Adsense conference speeches will immediately be reminded he often calls it the “tip jar” referring to people clicking on Adsense ads. His point being that when people plan to leave you might as well offer them an exit while taking in any potential income as they leave.

That logic is good, and in many cases increases overall earnings. But there is a growing tendency to offer free commercials to visitors. In that way Google MAY threaten your income as they still profile their name, but you get less for the advertising space you offer. This is worth split testing for to check what works best. I would rather sell ten excellent e-books through affiliate marketing earning what would otherwise be only half of what Adsense brings in when you find out that public service is running some 70% of the time.

Visitor counts from weblogs don’t lie, so you should be very much alert to this. Your blog is part of your business and you can’t afford to overlook that.

Wishing all of you a happy weekend. Personally it’s a weekend of rest for my knee but that’s a whole different matter. Fell when I walked the dog and that’s causing a bit of pain so there’s plenty of time to check up on statistics…

Would Someone Donate a Dictionary to Google?

Posted by Henrik Blunck (admin) | Google AdSense | Sunday 24 August 2008 2:53 am

It annoys me quite considerably to see the abuse of the words “temporarily unavailable” when I try to login to my Google AdSense account to see the results of the day.

Please note the words that fly in your face when you want to login:

The Google AdSense website is temporarily unavailable. Please try back later.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

Please try back later” sounds like double-negatives or an Indian who brags “we are one of the leading”…. How about using “Please try again later” or “Please come back later“?

I won’t even begin to describe how awful both the German and French texts sound, but couldn’t Google afford a team of translators to do their job or are people paid so poorly in Ireland that it becomes impossible to find someone who actually SPEAKS and is WELL-VERSED in either German or French?

Come again, boys. I know you could do far better!

Helping Others Is A Calling

Let it be said straight away: I enjoy helping others. If they WANT my help, and IF they take steps to becoming successes.

There is nothing as disillusioning as spending hours with a friend giving the best advice possible, and then finding out that the person does the EXACT OPPOSITE of what you advised that person to do. It requires people to be in a LISTENING mode to achieve success in your mission of helping others.

I have decided I want to call upon a maximum of 200 people who are ACTIVELY INTERESTED in earning an income online. I will release a brand-new product called “Step By Step – Earning Money Online” which you can read more about here: http://www.blunck.dk/recommends/step-by-step/.

This report will be released on a bi-monthly basis starting on October 1st 2008. Do yourself a favour. Read the sales letter and decide whether you are in this industry to LEARN how to do things FAR MORE EFFECTIVELY, and don’t beat around the bush. You owe it to yourself to take active steps towards BUILDING YOUR BUSINESS ONLINE. If you want to become your own boss NOW is the time to take action. You will study one type of online business in each report – appearing in each of the months of October, December, February, April, June and August.

Carpe diem. Have a nice weekend. :-)

Just Over 4 Months Left…

You have been reminded several times during the year about milestones in your earning money online endeavour. I have focused your attention towards defining your segment very precisely and putting time and energy into seeing what is on your harddrive and making USE of it, instead of just letting all the ideas remain ideas – waiting to be realized.

You are probably like many others. Waiting to see what others are doing before you try your own projects, and therefore you are bound to loose. Like you may have done last year, may do this year, and probably will in the years ahead also.

What MUST Change?

You MUST change your mindset. You MUST become more inquisitive, testing, active and useful to both your own blog readers and those on your list and anyone else involved in any of your activities. You CAN win when you begin focusing on DOING something about the knowledge you have been given, but you MUST take action.

So, instead of waiting to see money fall from the sky you should begin reading the archives of this blog, download all the free stuff I have linked to, and take action upon what has been given to you. You CAN succeed if you will change your mindset.

Will you be a winner in the months and years ahead? Feel free to comment… :-)

Carpe diem.
