It Ain’t Joint Ventures Nor Conferences
You may be wondering about the title, but the fact is that success and online traffic doesn’t depend upon either Joint Ventures or Conferences. Conferences may help bring about mutually beneficial joint ventures, but none of these would bring about success of and by themselves. You can conference with people who pad themselves on the back, but in the end they’re in it for the money. You can joint venture with people who won’t bring in much more than if you had taken the same number of beginners and just gotten backlinks from their blogs.
The thing that DEFINES what brings about success is ENTHUSIASM, THE BEST PRODUCT and STICK-TO-IT-IVENESS.
Why These Three Ingredients ARE Essential
Whether you call “stick-to-it-iveness” persistence, stubbornness or whichever other word signifies sticking with your product, the fact remains that if you lose enthusiasm you won’t bring it about in the way your potential customers read your sales letters. You can’t bring about a craving to buy if people don’t see both the quality of the product, your motivation and the fact that you are in the business of online marketing for “the long run”…
So many people have been well-known, and only a few months afterwards they have moved into the darkness of the unknown. I got in touch with one such guy and he completely lost all his motivation after one of his projects failed. He had become accustomed to high earnings, and when it failed it shocked him. He bailed out.
You don’t have to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars to conference all over the world. Being creative, you can get in touch with people and thereby earn seed money that allows you to only spend money you earned besides your normal day job. Don’t take money with you to work. Your family deserves your full attention and betting on potential successes with conference fees in the three-four thousand dollar range is only making one person richer — the one who hosts the conference.
It may work. I won’t deny it. But personally I won’t participate in such expensive projects. I prefer earning a decent income in the right way maintaining the right type of moral standards. Betting is not my line of business.
