Administer Your Blog Better Than Anyone

Your dashboard is alpha and omega to online success using WordPress. When you feel inspired you can write several articles and even set them up to run at different times. What you do is you set a date and a time and put a checkmark in the field “Edit Timestamp” – and, voila, your comments will be run consecutively for days to come.

This is the place to change the timestamp...

No more writer’s block

This will dramatically decrease your pressure to feel inspired every single day, but actually evens it out so you can sit down at your dashboard when you truly feel you have something important on your mind you wish to share.

Good luck.

Monetizing OK But…Beware of Over-Doing It

Posted by Henrik Blunck (admin) | monetizing your blog | Wednesday 27 June 2007 1:23 am

It must be said straight away. Only very few blogs could survive without advertising in some form. That is perfectly natural. Realizing the amount of time involved in creating quality content that is the price we must all pay when rarely any of us like to pay any subscription prices for following blogs either through RSS or blogs visits in our browsers.

Nevertheless, you can overdo it. Personally all the seven blinking boxes thrown around the page destroys the positive overview you can get by spreading your ads in the right way around the page.

For this page NO templates have been used. I have only made use of WordPress software and WordPress menus because it IS my plan to show you how much you can actually adapt WordPress blogs. For all assignments that require extra programs, you can rest assured that only freeware will be employed.

The intention is that you should be able to either adapt or monetize your site without needing to pay one single cent.

That’s a promise. :-)

Warm welcome

Warm welcome to everyone who reads this blog.

I have finally made the decision to create a blog about blogging – especially dealing with the use of the WordPress blog software in your efforts to create and build your blogs. The idea was awakened recently when a person subscribed to numerous of my other blogs, and suddenly the idea was fostered that perhaps there might be some who needed high quality help straight from beginner’s to experienced levels.

All of that is difficult to find in one single place, but I have embarked on this journey with one goal in mind – serving you as well as I possibly can. Ultimately I hope it may also be possible to add other authors who also catch the vision of participating in this endeavour. It could become a second community next to the other existing communities that no doubt are already cooperating.

The internet has brough us all more closely together, and that is a very good thing. Have a nice day. :-)

Should You Make Your Own Info Products Or Sell Others'?

Posted by Britt Malka | Selling Stuff | Wednesday 6 June 2007 11:18 pm

One of the best things to sell on the Internet is info products. This has several reasons:

  • People want them.
  • They are easy to deliver.
  • They are fast to deliver (and people want things fast).
  • People are willing to pay for knowledge.
  • You don’t have to have a stock.

Now, should you decide to sell info products, you have two choices: Sell your own products or others’. Which is the better?
